FAQ

general

How does Tamadami work?
Upload your photo; the AI evaluates biometric compliance, then removes the background and generates a print-ready ID photo with one click.
How do I print the resulting PNG?
The downloaded PNG is 600x720 pixels (300 DPI, 50x60mm) — print at any photo shop or home printer.
For which countries can I generate valid photos?
All ICAO 9303 aligned countries (EU, US, UK, Canada, Australia, etc.) are supported. See per-country pages for exact sizes.

requirements

What photo formats are supported?
JPG and PNG are supported. Minimum recommended short-side is 480 pixels; 720 pixels or above is ideal.
How should I take my photo?
Face the camera with a neutral expression, eyes open, no sunglasses. Any solid background is fine — our model cleans it automatically.
Should I remove glasses for the photo?
Most official documents require glasses to be removed. Our analysis flags lens reflections as warnings.

technical

Where does the AI run?
All image processing runs on our own GPU server (RTX 5090). Your photo is never sent to a third-party service.
Are my photos stored?
No. Your photo lives briefly in memory during analysis and generation, then is discarded. Only anonymous analysis metrics are logged.
Are the analysis results reliable?
We use Google MediaPipe FaceLandmarker (478 points), pose matrix, and BiRefNet background model. Results are advisory; final acceptance is up to the authority.
